Finding Local SEO Expired Domains (with GBP History)

If you do local SEO, this is the video you came for. An expired domain that used to be a real local business, with an old Google Business Profile listing attached, is rare and valuable. So in this video we're going to look at how to find expired domains for local SEO with CatchDoms. We have two ways of doing that.

First, on the sidebar on the left you can find the "Has Google Business Profile" filter. You just put it on and search with this filter. You will find expired domains that are available and where there is a Google Business Profile that is linked. So here for example you can click on this one and we will see the domain is soti.fr, and you can see there is this domain that is currently on auction.

Second way of looking for expired domains with local SEO relevance: you can use the tech stack. With CatchDoms we look at the historical technical stack of the website, and on the sidebar you just have to go and look for the Google Maps filter. We apply this filter, and here we can find 92 complementary domains that are currently on auctions and that had the Google Maps plugin on their website historically. That indicates strong local SEO relevancy.

Here we can see it's an expired domain for Melbourne. What else we can find: here it's a Portuguese one, and we can see directly with the snapshot how it's relevant.

And this is local SEO expired domains on the marketplaces. For the regfee domains, which are domains that are currently available, we have much more.
